Out of Recession - Where's Growth Now?

So we're officially out of recession are we? 0.1 per cent is not good news, especially as it could be revised down as is often the case with ONS figures.

But even looking on the bright side, where's the growth coming from? Government sits like a fat whore on the face of the economy, if she don't move soon we'll smother to death.

The hope is that an incoming Tory administration can get out of the way - lower taxes on enterprise and jobs will give a boost though we can look forward to 12-18 months of hard slog re-deploying the unproductive assets in Government and Local Authorities.

Personally I have always liked the idea of Flat Tax - a single rate with no allowances. I know, I know, feral lefties swear that this helps the rich more than the poor, but, as Dan Hannan has already shown, as the wealthy pay more tax overall this is always the case. And the entrepreneurial class is our only salvation while the size of the Government is radically reduced.
